Ayesha Singh & I genuinely cried while performing for the scene: Vihan Verma of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin

Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ has kept the fans glued to the television screens. The viewers are in awe of the chemistry that Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt share as Sai and Virat. The current track of the show revolves around a major misunderstanding wherein Sai feels that Virat is married to Shruti and has a baby from her. Virat is bound by a promise made to his best friend Sada and thus he is unable to reveal the same.

In the previous episodes, Mohit confronted Virat on the entire matter and also reprimanded him. Virat has always been Mohit’s role model but Mohit didn’t shy away from calling out Virat for his wrong acts. Mohit shares a close bond with Sai and he stood by her in the difficult time.

India Forums got in touch with Mohit and asked him about his thoughts on the scene where Mohit takes a firm stand against Virat.

The actor said, “I was really excited when I read the screenplay of the upcoming episodes. Mohit was the first one to know about Virat’s truth and he told it to everyone which created a huge drama in Chavan Niwas. Plus, the entire argument with Virat was really nice as that’s the first time Mohit raises his voice in front of Virat and other family members. I remember, before shooting that part, all of us were laughing and enjoying. There was no pressure. I did that entire part in one take and all of us were shocked because since there was a huge paragraph of dialogues, everyone including me thought I’ll get stuck and we’ll have to retake. But that came out very easy and natural. The entire chunk was very well executed”.

The scene where Mohit and Sai get emotional and the later decides to leave the house also touched many hearts. Talking about the same, Vihan said, “Ayesha and I have become great friends over the period of time and that really helps in the scene. There’s a give and take. I remember, when we were shooting the part where Sai leaves the house and meets Mohit for the last time, it was my close shot and the camera was behind Ayesha’s back. That scene was so natural that both of us had real tears in our eyes.  When your equation is good off-screen it naturally reflects onscreen too.”

Speaking about the feedback from fans, Vihan said, “Touchwood, the feedbacks have been really good and positive. Of course, it’s natural, that criticism will also come along. But I manage to take the constructive criticism and try to work on it. Mohit comes very naturally to me. And I can say that NOW I’ve settled in the character, show and off-screen equations. So, it’s a family now."
