'Avtaars of Naagins' This Week in Naaginn..Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa

Touching the hearts of all viewers with her unfamiliar and unique concept has always been the masterstroke of Aroona Irani’s creative brilliance. Her effort has paid off once again, as her weekend series on Zee, “Naaginn…Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa”, has not only been appreciated by one and all, but has also managed to climb its way into the TRP charts.

The story in Naaginn hits a big high this weekend, as the special episode will see the most popular faces of Zee serials, Vidya and Sindoora of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Kaveri of Saath Phere and Mahi of Maayka as they perform a Taandav dance along with the protagonist of Naaginn, Sayantani Ghosh.

We talk to Sayantani to know more about the special episode. “Shooting this Taandav dance was real fun, along with Divyanka, Neha, Aanchal and Kamya”, says Sayantani. How is it that the girls get incorporated in this dance? “As per the story track, the Tantrik and Rudr get to know that Amrita is alive, and they organize a Mahapuja to capture her. So Amrita comes to the Puja and performs this Taandav dance for the number ‘Main Teri Dushman’, wherein she keeps changing her identity and comes in varied faces of Vidya, Sindoora, Kaveri and Mahi”, explains the actress.

The girls were completely bowled over with the unique sets and the story. An elated Sayantani says, “They came to me and asked me as to how I manage to do all this. It’s so nice to get a positive feedback from colleagues and friends from the industry”. Sayantani is happy that all her hard work has paid off, as she exclaims, “With this show, I can say that I am creatively satisfied. I get to do a variety of things, starting from the Taandav, to the fight sequence that is going to be shown soon. The recognition I have got for this role has been overwhelming”.
