Authorities to slap Defamation charges for Spreading False and Misleading Claims in connection to Sushant and Disha's death Investigation!

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has sparked too many controversies and the investigation seems to be getting murkier after every new development. The actor passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence. However, a few days before Sushant’s death his manager Disha Salian had passed away on June 8 after falling off the 14th floor of a building in Malad.

Several media reports have milled numerous speculations and conspiracy theories about their death and the connection between them. With the distorted information being circulated through the internet, authorities seem to have a difficult time with the investigation. Now, they have even appealed to people with ‘authentic information’ to come forward and report the same at the Malvani police station. 

The Mumbai Mirror report stated that since there have been no new findings or links between the two cases, the police have reportedly decided to slap defamation charges against those involved in spreading false and misleading claims. 

The report also stated that investigations in the matter are still going on and that if anyone has viable information on the same, they can reach out to the police.

The move comes after Disha’s parents approached authorities and sought police intervention seeking action against such false reports that are allegedly “tarnishing their daughter’s image.”

During the police investigation over 30 people were interrogated by the cops including - family, friends, neighbors, and security personnel, apart from others related to the matter.

Previously, Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani had said that the late actor was very upset after his name was associated with the alleged suicide of his former manager, Disha Salian. Reportedly, he was living with Sushant at his Bandra residence.
