Aslam Merchant opens up on the arrest of Aryan Khan and son Arbaaz Merchant

Everyone was taken aback by Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's NCB arrest. On Saturday night, the Narcotics Control Bureau raided a rave party on a cruise ship and arrested the star kid and seven others. Arbaaz Merchant's father, Aslam Merchant, is among those detained and claims that the children are innocent.

Aryan, along with seven others, was initially charged with narcotic drug consumption, sale, and purchase. NCB also claimed to have seized 5gm mephedrone, 21gm charas, 22 pills of MDMA, and 13gm cocaine, as well as Rs 1.3 lakh in cash. 

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's sons Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha are being held in NCB custody until October 7. Aslam Merchant, the father of one of the accused, recently spoke to Times Now and stated,

It is all baseless allegations, but it is under investigation. It is far too early to make any statements at this time. The NCB has been extremely helpful and kind to the children. As a lawyer, I have faith in the judiciary. The truth will prevail, and they will be exonerated. They are not guilty.

Aslam Merchant commented on NCB recovering illegal materials, saying,

Whatever was found was found inside the ship, not outside. They didn't even get on board the ship. They were visitors.

Meanwhile, the NCB claimed on Monday that they had recovered “shocking and incriminating” materials from their WhatsApp chats; they used the app to procure drugs and discussed payment details, as well as several code names.

Solicitor General Anil Singh stated, “Raids are currently taking place.Shocking and incriminating evidence discovered in the accused's WhatsApp chats demonstrates international drug trafficking. All of the accused must be confronted with one another. The international transactions must be looked into.” 

Since Aryan's custody was extended last night, several Bollywood actors have been visiting Shah Rukh Khan's home. 

According to India Today, Aryan Khan cried uncontrollably during his interrogation with NCB, he even admitted to using drugs for the past four years, and he was recently allowed to speak to his father for only two minutes.
