Asim Riaz lashes out at 'an influential personality from the industry' for fake promises

Bigg Boss 13 fame and singer/rapper Asim Riaz rarely appears on social media to make statements or clarify rumors but when he does, it is usually after a blowout that has taken place. The man has been in the centre of news constantly since three years now for the right and sometimes, the wrong reasons.

If there has been one speculation that has been almost too consistent over the years, it has to be about his 'big Bollywood debut'. A number of names and associations have popped up and many even confirmed that Riaz will be making his acting big screen debut with X or Y project but none of that seemingly materialsed.

And it seems one of those rumors has gotten to Riaz himself as he went on to address the same in a Twitter post today. He wrote a message on the social networking platform that was directed at 'an influential personality from the industry' and how promises were made but did not materialise into anything else-

As one can see, his message read, “My father was promised a movie project from an influential personality from the industry. More than 1 year they used my name for the hype of the project, all the big media publications spoke about it and confirmed it, all I want to say is all the fake promises wont make me feel down. The pressure and anxiety they have given me will never make me stop doing what I am doing ryt now so mujhey apney tour se duniya ko jeene de..”

Reacting to the post one of his fans wrote, “Champ we are with you and InshaAllah best is written for you.”

A few months ago, Asim Riaz had issued a clarification over his controversial tweet indirectly targeting Shehnaaz Gill. The model took to Instagram and mentioned that he lost one of his ‘good friends last month from Jammu’, 'he has close ones too.'

We might have to wait longer for Riaz to be seen on the big screen in one capacity or another.
