Actress Ashnoor Kaur who was recently seen as Mini in the show Patiala Babes got into a fun conversation with us where she spoke about the abrupt ending of the show, financial difficulties of the Actors, mental health, doing web shows and much more.

Talking about things that she has explored in the lockdown, she said, "I've started sketching these days plus now I've my online classes that happens, so my first half of the day is busy with that. Then after that, I have my written work and assignments. I've also started baking healthy things these days with oats, honey and all. I'm working out and have revived my YouTube channel as well."

The abrupt ending of Patiala Babes have shocked a lot of viewers. Talking about how much did that affect her as an Actor, Ashnoor said, "It was all of a sudden. Usually when shows end, the give you a month or two prior notice, so you're mentally prepared and you're also living those last moments to the fullest because you know they are your end moments. I remember the last day we were shooting, we shot for straight 21 hours because we had to complete the schedule before we had this one week lockdown I guess in the start."

She further added, "As an Actor also you feel bad because your character couldn't get a proper closure. But obviously, it's nobody's fault. What happened is out of control, the situation is still out of control."

The entertainment industry has also suffered and many Actors have come up in the last few months to talk about their financial difficulty and the paycuts. Talking about the same, Ashnoor said, "Many people have been affected because obviously we have rules now that only a limited number of people can work in a unit. Obviously CINTAA is taking steps, people are taking steps to help the daily wage workers but to what extent? And how many? There are so many people who have lost their jobs. Not only in the acting industry but even outside. Obviously, there is a big financial crisis, a big economic doom that is affecting many people and we have also seen the result of many Actors getting affected by it. I just feel that there should be something done about it."

She also spoke about mental health and shared, "I remember when I was back in my secondary section, I used to go to school really rarely and I didn't have friends because I was shooting most of the time. People have this perception that if you're an Actor then you might have attitude. I remember coming back to my mom, really sad, sometimes even crying that I don't have any friend, nobody talks to me. People think that I have attitude just because I'm an Actor and they don't even come to talk to me. However, it was eventually with the help of my parents that they made me realise that it's okay, you've got to go out and reach out to them and you can be your own best friend. Specially in the lockdown, for people who are stuck alone and are without their family, it's even more difficult for them because you don't have anyone to talk to. That's what hampers your mental health and your mental well being. Stay connected with all your relatives, we have technology these days. I really believe in quotes. It's really important to concentrate on yourself and not on putting others down. Don't try to be someone else, be you but try to become a better version of yourself.

We asked her if she is keen on trying web shows. To this, she said, "I am getting offers but I am looking for something that is age appropriate for me and has a good meaningful storyline."

She added, "Obviously, some music videos and all are in the pipeline, I'll let you guys know but now that I also have my 12th this year, I'm not going to take any long term projects, any daily soaps. Also, because of the corona, it's risky as well. So no long term projects this year, but some short term projects I might do, if it's meaningful and nice."
