Ashnoor Kaur Opens up on her 'Different' Birthday Experience!

Actress Ashnoor Kaur had a very different and unique 16th birthday amid the on going lockdown. The Actress celebrated this special day with her family, friends over video calls and the corona fighters. Have a look at what Ashnoor had to say about her birthday experience.

Talking about her experience, Ashnoor shared, "It was a different birthday I would say, a different experience. Initially, I was really sad that I'll have to spend my birthday in the lockdown, I don't know how's it going to be and stuff. But it actually turned out to be very good. At sharp 12, my mom had done this really cute decoration in the living room and she asked me to go inside. I didn't understand at that time but as soon as I came outside, the clock was about to strike 12 and mom had decorated with balloons, fairy lights and she had this cake. We cut the cake at 12 and I started getting so many calls after that. I literally couldn't have my cake that I cut at 12 till 2 because I was just attending calls. Then I finally had my cake and slept. At Sharp 12 o'clock, there were so many people calling but the most memorable was one with the entire Patiala Babes family, the entire team was on a concall and all of them called me sharp at 12 and wished me together. So this was a very pleasant surprise and one of the best surprises that I received this Birthday."

She further added, "After that our producers, Rajita Ma'am and Vivek Sir, they sent over a cake. Obviously, it was all sanitized and all, so they sent over a cake for my birthday. I also celebrated it down with the corona fighters, my society's watchmen, because it felt really good sharing my happiness with them. Specially when those people are risking their lives for us, so I had a cake cutting with them and I celebrated with them."

Ashnoor also mentioned that she stayed connected with her friends through conference calls. She said, "At home, usually on my birthday, my friends come over the surprise me but this time it was different because they were surprising me with conference calls and zoom calls. So even though we couldn't be present near each other, we were still all connected through video calls and conference calls. It was amazing. I also received so much love on social media and I actually had a great time."

She added, "It was more like a cheat day for me because usually we have to follow a diet. But I had told mom that I want to eat this. The entire menu for the day was prepared by me, from the breakfast till dinner. I had pancakes, chole puri, cakes, custad, pizza, kebab, chat, god knows what not. Mom was also preparing these special dishes for me that are my favorite. It was a great birthday I would say, a different experience."
