As 'Shakti...' wraps up, Rubina Dilaik bids goodbye to the five years of love from viewers

We recently reported about how Colors' long-runner Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii is all set to call it a wrap and go off-air after being on the tube for over five years of runtime. Usually, when a long-running show hits the news web about going off-air, there is a lot of speculation and build-up leading to it. What begins with a wondering if it is indeed set to happen to the actual day of the show wrapping up, it is a little journey in itself. However, with Shakti..., the show chose the route of doing so quietly and wrapped proceedings.

We also reported how the cast and crew of the show shot their last a couple of days ago and hence, now leading lady Rubina Dilaik aka Saumya herself went on to post about it and bid this amazing journey, goodbye. Her post read, "Its a new beginning for such a beautiful end……. #shakti and Saumya will always be the most cherished memories in the chapters of my life …… thank you @msrashmi2002_ for all your unwavering faith in me and @colorstv for such a historical opportunity and a big thank you to our audience for embracing us for 5+years ??

To be saying that Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii was a game-changer for TV would be an understatement. Five years ago, to be having a show about a kinnar and a leading lady like Dilaik playing the protagonist was called a risk by many but it turned out to be a massive success and became one of the longest-running shows on the tube.
