Arun Mandola opens up on his Fitness Regime; says, 'Jo fit hai, woh hit hai'

Being fit is a lifestyle, especially in an industry where you have cameras zooming on you all the time. And actor Arun Mandola says jo fit hai, vo hit hai.

Citing example of superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor, he said that they are still at the top of their game because of fitness. 

“Being fit is very important for an actor. It doesn't mean you should have abs or heavy biceps. You should be fit and you should look good on camera. Superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor, are still working and are still on top because of fitness. Jo fit hai, woh hit hai,” he said.

Talking about his fitness regime, he says, “At the age of 16, I started doing yoga and meditation. Then I started going to the gym and have recently started mix martial arts. I always try something new and different as far as my routine is concerned, but I have been gymming since the past 9-10 years.”

Even during the lockdown, the actor is doing weight training thrice a week at home, and is doing yoga on the rest of the days.

The actor has not followed any particular diet in the past and says he loves home-cooked meals and avoids taking supplements or junk food. However, he says that he will start following a diet routine now, and added, “I will do it because without a good routine diet you cannot have a good physique.”
