Unlike other Kumar led film, this one not only received mixed reviews from critics but couldn't even cross the 50 crore mark at the box office and thus became an unsuccessful film.

Actor Arshad Warsi was recently seen in the mega film, Bachchan Pandey where he played a supporting role as Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon led the proceedings.

However, unlike other Kumar led film, this one not only received mixed reviews from critics but couldn't even cross the 50 crore mark at the box office and thus became an unsuccessful film.

Interestingly, recently during a media interaction, when it was said that the film was a success, Warsi was quick enough to respond saying it was not a successful film and in fact asked the media personnel not to lie.

According to a report by a news portal, during the media interaction, Warsi even added, “It was a good film, but unfortunately it happened, some things work, some things don’t. I feel it just went through a bad patch, there were various things that made it not as successful as it should have been. It is a big film, it should’ve made a lot more money, but it is still not a loss, it covered its money.”

When asked if he thinks that film didn't do well because it was not released on an OTT platform, Warsi said, “No, I don’t think it is the OTT effect. Okay, I’ve got an answer for that, but I’m not going to say it. Let's not get into it, it is a different space.”

Coming to Warsi himself, he has Asur Season 2 in the pipeline.
