Arjun Kapoor’s next movie to revolve around crocodiles! Details below…

Ever since his debut with Habib Faizal’s Ishaqzaade in 2012, Arjun Kapoor has experienced his fair share of ups and downs at the box-office. With his recent movies Mubarakan, Namaste England and India’s Most Wanted failing miserably at the box-office, the actor has been seriously prepping for his upcoming ventures.

If the recent reports from Mumbai Mirror are to be believed, with his next movie Panipat in the making, the 34-year-old actor is said to have quite a busy year ahead of him. In the past few weeks, it was reported that not only will Arjun star in the Hindi remake of a Tamil hit Comali, but we might also see him in Ekta Kapoor’s Ek Villain sequel, as an antagonist.

Now, a recent report from Mumbai Mirror states that the Gunday actor has been approached for Ronnie Screwvala’s next film and the actor is currently in talks with the makers. Slated to go on floors in the first half of 2020, the untitled movie will be shot in Thailand and the story will revolve around crocodiles.

As per the leading daily’s source, who is close to the development, “Arjun Kapoor is in talks with the makers. He has found the concept interesting. Besides him, there are two more important characters in the story for which Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh have been approached. The first stage of recce is already underway, and the film is expected to roll in the first half of 2020. A lot of training will be involved before the actors start shooting for the VFX-heavy film.”

On the work front, Arjun is all set to amaze the audience with his work in Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat with Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. Panipat, a historical period drama, recounts the events that led up to and unfolded during the third Battle of Panipat between the Maratha Empire and the Durrani Empire, in 1761. The film is scheduled to release on December 6 alongside Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday’s Pati Patni Aur Woh.
