Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is currently basking in the glory of his recently released film, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. However, amid his extensive work commitments he is also making sure to fulfill his duty of a responsible citizen and is making sure help as many as he can.
As per sources, we got to know that the actor has been silently working under cover to help save lives without making any propaganda about and without showing off about his social work.
The source further revealed that he and his sister Anshula Kapoor’s online celebrity fundraising platform, Fankind, has been silently working all through the pandemic to help as many people as possible across India. The brother-sister duo so far have raised over Rs. 1 crore and has helped over 30,000 people and their families in need.
Sharing about the same when contacted Arjun, he revealed,
The pandemic has made us stare at an abyss of suffering. It has made us all step forward and help as many people as possible in our own, unique way. Anshula and I have tried to contribute through Fankind. I’m happy that we have helped about 30,000 people pan India and raised 1 crore to help aid those in crisis.- Arjun Kapoor
The actor further spoke about how they have been helping the people who are in need. He shared,
From monthly ration kits to hot meals, to cash in hand for migrant workers, to providing hygiene kits for COVID-19 prevention, the initiative has managed to touch the lives of many and hopefully has helped them in a small way to fight the virus and it’s far-reaching devastating impact.- Arjun Kapoor
On a concluding note, Arjun says he is really happy to have lent a helping hand during this crisis and is feeling extremely proud that he has been able to put his life's savings to a great cause. He says,

On the professional front, Arjun will next be seen in "Sardar Ka Grandson" which is all set to release on May 18 on Netflix. The ensemble cast includes Neena Gupta, Rakulpreet Singh, Kanlwajit Singh, John Abraham, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kumud Mishra.
