Arjun Bijlani: Smart Jodi has been a good decision, I am open to more work if it is good content

Arjun Bijlani has been doing well for himself and is currently a part of Smart Jodi and is also hosting India's Got Talent. If that's not enough, the actor is also gearing up for his web series, Roohaniyat, co-starring Kanika Mann. India Forums got talking to the actor where he spoke about Smart Jodi, being open to TV, the pandemic, and more.

You are currently shooting for Smart Jodi, as well as hosting a show, are your hands full or is there more work you wish to do?

I am always open to more. I don't mind not resting, but this is my passion and more is always welcome. I feel blessed to be a part of 2 no.1 shows on television and to get so much love from all. Its a good phase to be in.

Any plans to return to TV's fiction space soon? Anything you like?

I am open to good content, so yes, if anything comes my way which as an actor excites me, I am up for it. 

Throughout the pandemic, there's been just enough work for you, how thankful are you about the same?

The Pandemic has been bad for many and I have had my lows as well, but what I am thankful for, is we are now nearing the end of covid times and slowly and steadily, we are getting back on track. Let us look at the positivity in it too as it helped many of us spend good time with our loved ones, so yes, as much as it has been a depressing time, I have tried to keep the positivity alive.

What is the kind of work you're hoping to do ahead?

I am open to good content - TV, OTT, films, music videos and anything that makes me smile on its release and helps me feel satisfied as an actor.

Lastly, how has the journey on Smart Jodi been for you. Especially, since you have friends on the show too, how is it like?

Smart Jodi has been a good decision...I have gotten to relive memories with Neha and spend a lot of time with her. My friends are a part of the show as well, so its work and pleasure. On a serious note, one does not even feel like one is working as it is a cake walk and it is fun.
