Arjun Bijlani: I am a person who is content with whatever I have, but I aspire to do bigger things

Arjun Bijlani, currently seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, has had quite a run on television with multiple shows to his credits. The actor has also donned the hat of a host and faired well at it. More recently, he made his digital debut and is now shooting for his next web series, hoping to do more of the web and thrive in that space. The actor is also someone who is content but continues to aspire and dream big. 

India Forums got in a quick chat with Arjun and he spoke about his plans of returning to TV and how he looks at his achievements, dreams yet to come true, and a little more.

On his plans of doing a daily soap...

I am doing a web series right now, it is taking a lot of my time, so as of now, I am not doing any daily soap for sure. But you never know what is in the future. As of now, I am in the web space, I can't talk about that show right now, but I will talk about it in time. It has been a journey that started with the State of Seige and now I am doing something else, and I hope it continues this way because as an actor you can experiment a lot on the web space than on television. Although television has given me everything and made me who I am, I am just trying everything and giving it a shot.

On his recent achievements...

I am a person who is content with whatever I have, but I aspire to do bigger things and dream big, wanting to up my performance, and also my presence in the industry. I want to do good work, I want to do better scripts, I want people to see different characters that I would pursue in the future. You got to keep pushing yourself to do that and be relevant at all times, and that is a tough job in this industry, and I keep working on that. I think there is no place for complacency in my life, I have always done something or the other to do better. My family really supports me with that, so that really helps.

As far as personal life goes, I think keeping a balance is the most important thing anybody can do because you got to enjoy these little moments and it is not important to be too strict with yourself either, you need to give yourself a breather and move on with that.

For someone who has been around for such a long time, and continues doing things, what are a few things on your bucket list you are looking forward to doing? (personal front or professional front)

I think I would definitely want to work with Dharma and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, that's on my bucket list for sure. The kind of films they make are larger than life, and probably even work with Rohit sir, an action-comedy maybe, if I ever have a chance. I think they are superb. Apart from that, I want to travel with my family all over the world and I think it plays an important role in our lives, it broadens your spectrum, so definitely want to do that. And yes, explore India as nobody has. The country has beautiful places that not many people don't know of.
