In his comment, he stated, “Ok so firstly Jannat and Samarth are good friends and secondly she is not at all uncomfortable around him. So please don’t malign his image. He is a good soul and yes keep enjoying the show.. Thank you for your attention."

Samarth Jurel also addressed the situation in a recent interview. Speaking to Buzzooka, he downplayed the controversy and said he does not pay much attention to online reactions. “There are negative and positive comments which do the rounds on social media, and honestly speaking, I do not take it seriously. There are lots of bigger things that have happened in life, so this is a very small issue. I feel it is best to ignore it,” he said.

When asked about the response from Jannat and other cast members, he added, “We all were neutral. We chose to ignore it as there was no depth in the matter."
