Acting is truly an adventurous profession. Because, the fame and recognition can break a stampede or bring a whole village to a standstill, as in the case of Archana Taide and Pramod Moutho who stopped an entire village from functioning when they were shooting for Sony's upcoming show, Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah, produced by Swastik Pictures.
Adds the source, "Also, the fact that there was a shooting happening, shot up the villagers' excitement several notches higher. In fact, none of them went to their farms or schools. They just surrounded the location and watched the shooting in awe. Of course, they inundated the actors with demands for autographs too!"
Archana Taide, who plays the protagonist Anmol in the show says, "Yes, it was a very different and wonderful experience. The villagers loved the experience, and their affection really touched me. I appreciate the production house's decision of giving us some time just to sign autographs for the villagers."
She explains how the friendliness of the villagers was soothing in a different way too. "The heat was almost unbearable. It was just the sight of the eager villagers craning to get a better view of us, irrespective of the pushing crowd or heat, which made us realize that we need to give back all this love through hard work and by giving our best shot. It was easier then to ignore the stinging rays of the sun," she fondly relates.
Pramod Moutho, who plays Archana's onscreen father says, "Yes, the incident you are talking about is true. It was a wonderful experience. Yes, the weather was hot but I enjoyed it. It was something different from the usual Mumbai climate."
Glad that everyone had an enjoyable experience!
