Anushka Sharma’s father cradles babygirl Vamika in his arms in new photo!

The newest mommy on the block, Anushka Sharma is celebrating the 60th birthday of her father and Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma. She took to her official Instagram handle to share some never seen before pictures of her dad, ranging from his teenage days to him becoming a grandfather.

In the series of pictures, our eyes landed on the picture of Anushka’s father cradling her babygirl Vamika. Ajay Kumar can be seen holding the newborn in his arms with a backdrop of a stunning sunset, making it a priceless moment and captured beautifully. 

Besides, Anushka shared a bunch of other pictures featuring her father, a picture from his army days and a few pictures with her mother Ashima Sharma. Her special birthday post also included a childhood picture of herself with her father and a family portrait featuring husband Virat Kohli.

Anushka also penned a sweet note on her father’s 60th birthday. Her note reads, 

“Celebrating 60 glorious years of the most unique 1961 special edition - my papa. Growing up he taught us the power of honesty, compassion, acceptance and righteousness. And always stressed upon the peace of mind that follows by being honest and hassle free. Inspired me in so many more ways than he knows! Supported me like I will never be able to reciprocate. And loved me like only he can. Love you papa. Happy 60th Birthday to you”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their first child on January 11, 2021. The couple is blessed with a baby girl, who they have named Vamika.

Last week, on the occasion of  International Women’s Day today, Virat Kohli had shared a beautiful picture of his darling wife Anushka Sharma and newborn baby girl Vamika. In the picture, baby Vamika can be seen planting her little hand on mom Anushka’s face.
