Anushka Sharma slammed media houses with an Open-Letter who blame her for hubby Virat’s performance!

Anushka Sharma has once again hit the headlines for being accused of the poor performance featured by hubby Virat Kohli. The actress is known to be very outspoken about her stand and she has repeatedly made herself clear about the baseless rumors being voiced out against her. 

Slamming such reports and commenting about the same Anushka took to her Instagram handle and shared an open letter that slammed the media houses for smearing her reputation with false accusations.

The letter also hinted at how she had been maintaining silence on false and fabricated news and stories and she also mentioned how she had been dealing with the same. 

The actress further talked about her presence in the pavilion in order to support her husband and the captain of the Indian cricket team. She wrote: “I have stayed quiet through all the times I was blamed for the performance of my then-boyfriend, now-husband Virat and continue to take the blame for the most baseless things involving Indian cricket. I kept quiet then, My name has been used in fabricated stories claiming that I am part of close-door team meetings and influenced selection processes and I have kept silent. 

"My name has been wrongfully used to say how I have been given preferential treatment or how I have overstayed my authorised time with my husband on foreign tours which if anyone really cared about finding facts from the board, would know that I have always and always followed protocol but yet, I kept quiet.”

Recently, Anushka was also accused of having a major impact on the Team India selectors as well. Reports in NDTV sports claimed that the actress was being served with cups of tea during a 2019 World Cup match in the UK.
