Today marks the 90th anniversary of the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra. He was regarded as one of the top film directors in Bollywood. The renowned director-producer was the man behind numerous iconic films in Indian cinema, including, Deewar, Chandni, Silsila, Kabhie Kabhie, Trishul, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and many others. Yash Chopra, the "King of Romance" of Bollywood, died on October 13, 2012, at the age of 80, following multi-organ failure after getting diagnosed with Dengue.

She also penned sweet words for the filmmaker that read, "A master storyteller who weaved magic on celluloid. Remembering the iconic visionary, Yash ji on his birth anniversary."

Anushak and Ayushmann's story

The actress made her acting debut in the Shah Rukh Khan-starring movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which was produced by Yash Chopra. Following that, Anushka collaborated with the director on the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Ayushmann Khurrana also took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of the filmmaker. His story also included a poster of 'Lamhe' in the bottom with a note, 'Yashji Birth anniversary'. 

Talking about their professional engagements, Anushka is currently gearing up for her upcoming film 'Chakda Xpress'. She has been vigorously training for the film at different locations and also been sharing BTS pictures from the sets. The film will be released digitally on Netflix.

Meanwhile Ayushmann is gearing up for the release of his film 'Doctor G' also starring Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah in the lead and will be releasing on 14th October in theatres.
