Colors’ Barrister Babu has been the talk of the town. The project is produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions and has an ensemble cast including actors Pravishth Mishra, Aurra Bhattnagar Badoni, Rishi Khurana, Pallavi Mukherjee, Sadia Siddiqui among others. The show is in the news for its recent track wherein Pravishth Mishra aka Anirudh Roy Chaudhry donned a female avatar to help Bondita against Thakku Maa. 

The news of the show taking a generation leap has been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. Last year, there were speculations about actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee being roped in as the grown-up Bondita in the show, however, the rumors turned out to be un-true. Well, recently, again the news of leap in the show started making the rounds and grapevine was abuzz that actress Kanika Mann of Guddan Tumse Naa Ho Payega fame will be seen as Bondita post leap. However, reports now suggests that although the role was offered to Kanika she had to skip it as she has already signed a project in OTT space.

Aurra has lived the character of Bondita for more than two years now and she has connected extremely well with the viewers and hence, the makers will surely find it a tough task at hands to find someone as convincingly and effortlessly innocent as Aurra for the role.
