Anusha Dandekar pens a loved up quirky note for newlyweds Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar

Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar are now married. Anusha Dandekar, Shibani's sister, has written a nice post for her brother-in-law, whom she affectionately refers to as Fu, in which she asks him to approach her for any assistance if needed. There is, however, a catch. 

Anusha posted on Instagram after sharing several beautiful photos of Shibani and Farhan from their Khandala wedding on Saturday, "love like this… Congratulations Chicken and Fu in law. I love you both so very much and watching every day go by with so many people that love you and love to celebrate you was the most beautiful thing ever! As a sister dealing with Bridezilla was worth it because she became Cinderella in the end."

She further added a message for the actor, “Farhan we hand her over to you now! You can call us whenever you need help, we’ve changed our numbers though.”

Model Candice Pinto commented on the post, calling it "kind and incredibly amusing." "You're great," an admirer praised Anusha for the hilarious caption. "How amazing is this," a fan said in response to the post about Farhan and Shibani's wedding. 

On February 19, Farhan and Shibani exchanged wedding vows at Javed Akhtar's Khandala home. Farhan wore a tuxedo, while Shibani wore an off-the-shoulder red and beige gown with a veil. Shibani changed her Instagram display name to Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar shortly after. In her bio, she now calls herself a 'Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer, and Mrs Akhtar.' 

On the work front, Shibani appeared in the web series Hostages and Four More Shots Please! Back in 2020, Farhan was last seen in Toofan as a boxer. He'll return to direction with Jee Le Zaraa, a road trip film starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt.
