Anurag Kashyap had few blockages in his heart, underwent angioplasty

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap recently underwent angioplasty at a Mumbai hospital. He had complained of mild chest pain and was admitted to the hospital over the weekend.

As reported by a news portal, Anurag had complained of slight discomfort in his chest and decided to get it checked last week. Angiography revealed a few blockages in his heart and then he was immediately admitted for surgery.

Anurag’s spokesperson also confirmed the news to the portal and stated that he is currently recuperating. The filmmaker is advised one week rest before he can get back to work.

On the work front, Anurag Kashyap was working on his upcoming film ‘Dobaaraa’ starring Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati in the lead roles.
