Anupamaa: Anu’s unexpected return to Ahmedabad leaves the Shahs stunned

Tonight's Anupamaa episode opens with Jaya asking whether Anupama is now settled in Ahmedabad. Anupama replies that from now on, Ahmedabad will also be her home. Jaya admits that she has been missing Banku and Digvijay a lot. Meanwhile, Prem notices Rahi’s uneasiness and questions her about it. Rahi appears disturbed, while Khyati anxiously asks Prem about Parag. Prem reassures her that he will soon bring Parag back. At the same time, Rahi expresses her concern, hoping that nothing affects Prem’s happiness.

Just then, she receives an unexpected phone call that leaves her stunned. When Prem asks her what happened, Rahi explains that the company has appointed a new chef for inspection because they believe she might be biased as Prem’s wife. Instead of being upset, Rahi supports the decision and feels it is fair. Prem becomes curious and asks about the chef’s identity, but Rahi reveals that the company has deliberately kept the name confidential, which makes Prem uneasy.

On the other side, Leela starts planning how to manage the household expenses. She clearly states that she does not want to depend on Paritosh or Pakhi for money. Jassi offers to help and tells Leela that she can use her savings, but Leela refuses, saying that although Jassi has already helped her a lot, she cannot rely on her forever and must eventually handle things on her own. Jassi responds that Leela is free to think however she wants.

Pakhi then interrupts and tells Leela to stop worrying about money and instead focus on staying motivated. She even asks Ansh to look for a new job for her. Mahi adds that Ansh should aim for a respectable career instead of working merely as Jassi’s manager. This comment angers Jassi, who defends herself by saying that Ansh joined her willingly. Mahi, however, warns Ansh that Jassi might be taking advantage of him. In retaliation, Jassi points out that Mahi was once against the Shah family and is now trying to get close to them only after being thrown out by the Kotharis. This sparks a heated argument between Pakhi and Jassi.

Amid this chaos, Anupama arrives and sarcastically encourages Pakhi to continue arguing. The Shah family gathers around her. Paritosh questions how long she plans to stay, but Hasmuk steps in and reminds him that Anupama is his mother, not a guest whose stay needs to be counted. Anupama then asks Hasmuk not to argue with Paritosh and Pakhi. Leela becomes emotional and tells Anupama that she missed her dearly, while Ishani runs to hug her. Hasmuk asks why she returned, and Anupama admits that she couldn’t adjust in Goa. Paritosh again asks if she is back permanently, but Anupama says she plans to take Jaya along and find a separate place. Hasmuk refuses to accept this and firmly declares that the house belongs to Anupama, and she will not leave. To lighten the mood, he decides to make tea for her and a burger for Jaya. Anupama silently prays to God, hoping things go right this time now that she has returned.

Meanwhile, Prem continues to feel nervous about the restaurant inspection. Rahi encourages him to stay confident and reassures him that if anything is wrong, there is still time to fix it. Prem agrees to stay positive. Soon, both Rahi and Prem learn that Anupama has come back. Vasundhara reacts sharply, questioning whether Anupama was thrown out of Goa just like she was from Mumbai. Rahi clarifies that Prem himself invited Anupama, which is why she returned.

Prem reveals that he wants Anupama to inaugurate the restaurant. Vasundhara questions this decision and asks if a Kothari family member has passed away, hinting that such respect is unnecessary. Prem respectfully explains that he values her blessings and acknowledges that Anupama has supported him greatly as his mentor. He insists that he wants to honor her. However, Vasundhara refuses to give her approval. Rahi advises Prem to focus on preparing for the inspection and decides to go meet Anupama.

Later, Anupama gets to know about Mahi’s situation. Mahi tells her that she wants to build her own career and become independent. Anupama gently asks if she regrets leaving Gautam, but Mahi confidently says she has no regrets and promises to stand on her own feet. She seeks Anupama’s blessings, and Anupama wholeheartedly blesses her for a bright future. Mahi then plans to surprise Anupama. At the same time, Rahi decides to take Pranshi to meet Anupama. However, Gautam strongly opposes this and accuses Anupama of being responsible for Prarthana’s death. Rahi defends Anupama, but Gautam tries to forcibly take Pranshi away. Khyati steps in to support Rahi and firmly tells Gautam that he can do whatever he wants, but Pranshi will meet Anupama. Grateful for the support, Rahi thanks Khyati. Furious, Gautam informs Vasundhara that Rahi has taken Pranshi to meet Anupama and that Khyati stood by her. He ominously warns that Anupama’s return will lead to destruction, either someone’s life or someone’s dreams will be shattered. Vasundhara is left shocked by his words.

In a lighter moment, Mahi brings a cake for Anupama as a surprise. Anupama blesses her once again and prays that all her children remain happy and successful in their lives.

In the precap, Paritosh is seen saluting Anupama, while Leela advises Anupama not to oppose Rahi and Prem. Vasundhara confronts Anupama about her decision, pointing out that Prem considers her his mentor. She then questions whether Anupama will shut down the very restaurant she has been invited to inaugurate, leaving Anupama visibly conflicted.
