Anupam Kher on wife Kirron Kher’s cancer treatment : “I can only be positive”

Earlier this year in April, veteran actor Anupam Kher had announced that his wife and politician Kirron Kher is diagnosed with blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment for the same.

In a recent interview, Anupam has shared an update on his wife Kirron’s health after her cancer diagnosis. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he said:

“It is a very natural phenomena to support people near you, and that is what I have been doing. Aur baaki toh kuch nahi kar sakte hum. Doctors are doing their best job. We have got the best doctors around and I can only be positive and optimistic and believe in the brilliance of doctors and pray.” 

Anupam also revealed that his brother Raju Kher is a cancer survivor and he hopes that his wife Kirron Kher battles cancer too. He added:

“My brother is also a cancer survivor, [so there is hope]. Being optimistic and choosing to be happy always helps in every way.”

After Anupam Kher opened up about Kirron Kher’s cancer diagnosis, fans across the globe had been praying for her well-being. Recently, on her birthday, the actress had shared a video message thanking her fans.
