Anupam Kher announces his inclusion in 'The Vaccine War'; marks his 534th film

Vivek Agnihotri and Anupam Kher in his film 'The Kashmir File' has already caused a stir at the box office amd all across the globe. Now the actor-director duo is once again collaborating for yet another project, 'The Vaccine War'. The filming of the movie has begun. 

Today, Anupam Kher took to his social media handle and shared a picture with the clapboard announcing his inclusion in the cast of the film and the begining of the shooting. along with this he also announced that with this project, the actor marks his 534th film in his trajectory, Sharing the picture, Kher wrote, "Announcing my 534th film!!! #TheVaccineWar directed by @vivekagnihotri . Fascinating and Inspirational! Jai Hind! 🙏".

Earlier it was also reported that actor Nana patekar will be a part of the cast and has already begun filming for the movie. While no official announcement has been made yet, if reports are to be believed, it will be announced soon. 

In a tweet announcing the film, Agnihotri wrote, “Presenting ‘THE VACCINE WAR’ – an incredible true story of a war that you didn’t know India fought. And won with its science, courage & great Indian values. It will release on Independence Day, 2023. In 11 languages.”

Vivek Agnihotri spent over a year to accumulate the necessary information, do the detailed research, and present it to the audience. The story for the movie was written on 3200 pages by 82 writers, who toiled day and night on it. In order to conduct an effective study, the team also consulted with actual scientists and people in charge of developing the vaccine.

A vaccine vial with the title written on it is displayed on the poster "The tagline runs, “A war you didn’t know you fought. And won.” Agnihotri will collaborate once more with Abhishek Aggarwal, the producer of The Kashmir Files, who is now working on the APJ Abdul Kalam biopic and recently produced Karthikeya 2.

The film is set to be released this year.
