Ankit Gera chooses episodic shows over daily soaps. Find out why

Popular actor Ankit Gera, who has always opted to do daily soaps such as Mahi Way, Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya and Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke is currently keeping his career profile low by opting for episodic shows, the recent one being Maharakshak Devi.

With the actor currently shooting for Sony TV's Bhanwar we speak to him in detail about the show and the reason behind him taking up episodic shows.

He said, "I have been doing daily soaps from the past nine years. I need a break now and have planned a 10 to 15 day trip to Moscow, Canada, US and some other places. That is the only reason I am doing episodic shows. Post my tour I would like to work with a show on Life OK or Colors since these are the two channels I haven't yet associated myself with."

"Also I choose episodics where I am the sole protagonist on the show which shows I am choosy about the shows I do."

In Bhanwar, Ankit will essay the role of Vishal whose character will take a transition from a positive business man to a criminal.
