Ankit Gera and wife Rashi Puri blessed with a baby boy

Ankit Gera is known for his stint in shows like ‘Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke’, Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya among others. The actor got married to Rashi Puri, in the month of June 2021 and now, the couple has embraced parenthood as they’re blessed with a baby boy. While the couple celebrates their anniversary on 5th June 2021, they welcomed the baby boy on 10th June 2022.

In a chat with ETimes, Gera said, “Rashi was in immense pain during her labour, which lasted for 16 hours. At one moment, I felt so helpless that I stepped out and cried. But once the baby was born, we forgot all the pain.”

Ankit revealed that his baby is a honeymoon baby. He said, “I got married amidst the lockdown. Rashi and I couldn’t travel anywhere. Around that time, I was offered a show and had to join the shoot immediately. So, we came to Mumbai expecting the stay to last for a couple of months. However, Rashi got pregnant and we couldn’t travel back to Delhi for the first three months. We stayed back for good (smiles). So, yes, it’s a honeymoon baby for us.”

Ankit starred in Chhoti Sardarni and Molkki while he is also set to feature in an upcoming show for Atrangii titled ‘Hara Sindoor’.

Recently, comedian Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachaya welcomed a baby boy and named him Laksh, while popular actors Nikiten Dheer and Kratika Sengar became proud parents to a baby girl and they named her ‘Devika’.
