Anita Kanwal bags Star Plus' show by Zama Habib

Star Plus currently has multiple shows doing exceedingly well for them where the likes of Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and a new show like Imlie are performing really well. The most encouraging aspect about this list of shows is how new shows are managing to grab eyeballs and not just that but also managing it sustain them.

But it seems like the channel is in no mood to stop where it has another interesting show coming in soon and this one too is touted to be a family drama. The show is written by TV writer Zama Habib, who has an alluring resume that includes shows like Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, Sasural Genda Phool, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Saas Bina Sasural and Nimki Mukhiya among others.

This upcoming show is tentatively titled Zindagi Welcome and has already roped in veteran Sudhir Pandey in a pivotal role. Now, latest report suggests that another veteran in the form of actor Anita Kanwal has been roped in for this show.

Kanwal also has a great profile of work having starred in multiple shows but best remembered for the negative role of Mrs. Seth in the hit 90s opera, Banegi Apni Baat. With Zindagi Welcome, she will be playing Pandey's on-screen wife in the show.

We certainly cannot wait to see the other casting developments in the show.
