The release of 'F3' is approaching, and speculation regarding a Hindi adaptation has already begun. In fact, the series' writer-director Anil Ravipudi wants Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan to play Venkatesh in the Hindi version.

Anil has expressed his desire to helm the Hindi rendition of the comic franchise to producer Dil Raju, as per a news portal report. In addition, the writer-director has a wish list of actors. He is reported to prefer either Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan to play Venkatesh in the film. Anil has performers like Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan in mind for Varun Tej's role.

According to the report, bringing in the performers should not be problematic because Venkatesh is already collaborating with Salman in 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali,' while Dil Raju is financing Kartik's forthcoming film, 'Shehzada.'

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor has obtained the Hindi rights to 'F2' and has enlisted Anees Bazmee to direct it. They haven't decided on the cast for the film yet.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan has quite exciting projects in the pipeline. He will next be seen in Siddharth Aanand's Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He is also working on Atlee's commercial entertainer and Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. He will share screen space with Taapsee Pannu in this film for the first time.

Salman Khan, on the other hand, will mark his presence on the big screens with Tiger 3, wherein he will star alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. He is also gearing up for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Kick 2.
