Anil Kapoor calls Sonam's pregnancy announcement the 'most exciting role of my life'

Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja made headlines on Monday morning when they revealed their first pregnancy. The pair finally made an official announcement on Instagram after a lot of speculation. Sonam released lovely shots from her photoshoot, in which she flaunts her baby belly.

Sonam’s friends from the industry were spotted showering love and congratulating the couple on the new development shortly after she uploaded the photos.

Anil Kapoor, Sonam's father, has taken to social media to convey his feelings about being a grandfather. 

Anil Kapoor, who is about to become a grandfather, posted a photo of the couple on Instagram and expressed his joy as he prepares for the most exciting role of his life.

The actor wrote, 

"Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life - GRANDFATHER!! Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn’t be more grateful! @sonamakapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news!"
