Anil Dhawan Reveals Truth Behind Varun-Natasha’s Roka Rumors, Confirms Wedding to Happen in 2020

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding is much awaited by fans, and the Dhawan family’s recent appearance at  Natasha’s suburban residence had led to rumours of the couple’s Roka ceremony. However, Varun had later clarified that it was just a birthday bash as it was Natasha’s father, Raju Dalal’s birthday.

Right from a grand summer wedding to invitations,  much speculation has been made over the couple’s wedding. However, Varun’s uncle Anil Dhawan has finally cleared the air, and also spilled some important details about the duo’s marriage.

Anil Dhawan rubbished the rumours of the Roka ceremony and clarified that it was a birthday party. “We hadn’t met each other in a long time and we don’t know each other well. So, they invited us over for dinner. It was a birthday party, but they wanted the families to meet as well, as everyone is busy with their respective lives” he told Mumbai Mirror.

On being probed whether Varun and Natasha are planning to get married in May or June as speculated, Anil Dhawan revealed that the couple has not finalized anything. He said “No date or month has been fixed yet. It will be announced whenever it happens.” But Varun’s uncle assured that they all want the nuptials to happen in 2020, “Hona toh chahiye. It’s high time Varun got married. We all want it (to happen).”

Well, that’s definitely some good news and we too, cannot wait for our beloved Badrinath aka Varun to get home his Dulhania.
