And TV to present a show on women EMPOWERMENT: ropes in its male LEAD

And TV, as a channel have certainly be struggling with the numbers in terms of it's GRPs. Multiple shows on the channel have not been able to grab the desired numbers inspite of rolling one novel concept after the other.

That has actually been the story of the channel and it's shows over the years, where shows based on contractual marriage and vasectomy have been presented, but one way or the other, they haven't been able to fetch numbers, this resulting in many of them shutting down.

Joining the bandwagon is none other than And TV's Half Marriage. The show exhibited a novel concept in the form of how two individuals, who hate each other are pitted to get married, where the girl's father does so for his personal interests.

The show did sport this interesting concept, but never managed to garner the ratings and will hence shut shop by the end of this month.

However, putting all that aside, the channel is all set to now roll another new concept in the form of a girl and her decision to be financially independent and earn her self-respect.

And being cast in the show as the male lead is none other than actor, Abhishek Bajaj, who was last seen as the leading man in Sab TV's Dil Deke Dekho.

Abhishek will play the role of a contractor named Mahi in the show.
