Being a Kangna Ranaut fan I can proudly say that Deepika won for Piku .. Piku was excellent and in fact, Piku should win the best film award of this year.
Also hapy for Papon, he deserved to win.

Deepika has got huge fan following that's why she won! Kangana genuinely deserved this for TWMR. She was outstanding! Unbelievable how she played the double role. Not even for a second I thought both are same actress. So happy she won National Award.

Why are they making a big deal out of Piku?! It was a ok role! But I guess it's a big deal because Deepika Padukone did a different role from playing the glam doll like her other films! But the her performance wasn't earthshattering! I felt Kangana was way better!2016-06-26 17:07:14

angel_juhi04 because if both of them didn't get a debut award they needed to give them some type of award even if the don't deserve it. Because they are the "future" of the industry and plus it was a Salman Khan production and every one needs to be in the good books of the "being human" of the industry. Who knows who he will get angry on next ;)

Best producer award? Really? Never heard of this category before. One good thing is debut awards to both Vicky and Bhumi are well deserved.
