Anchal Sahu on taking up Barrister Babu, off-screen chemistry with Pravisht Mishra and more

India Forums got in touch with the grown-up Bondita, played by none other than Anchal Sahu and she spoke to us about taking up the show, the response, and some more. The show has been receiving a really strong response, and fans have been showering a lot of love on her, something that even she agrees.

What was the thought process for agreeing to do the show?

There wasn't any thought process, it is just that if I have gotten this opportunity, I had to do this, such a big show, such a big character. I was really happy and nervous at the same time, but that was okay. Whenever a new show starts, you are nervous and anxious and excited, so it is okay, so I am happy that I got this opportunity.

Now that you have been a part of the show for a while, how has the response been?

The response is really crazy, I never thought that I would get such a nice response, did not expect this. The way I was told earlier that it may not be so good. However, from the first episode up until now, the response is really good and also something that is totally new.

What is your off-screen chemistry with Pravisht like?

It is fun, he is just a crazy person, and same here.

Have you followed the show earlier?

I have not followed the show, but I've heard a lot about it, so I did know what is it about. My father also keeps watching shows and serials, so there were some scenes of Barrister Babu that I've seen and it made me think that 'Oh this is a great show' and now that I am a part of it, I am like this has happened and I am really happy about it.

We are working really hard while performing the scene also, I enjoy it. When I watch the scenes or clippings with my dad or even anyone else, they laugh and enjoy the scene, so I am happy. A lot of twists and turns are in store for the fans, so keep watching it.
