Ananya Panday says “My Parents don’t want to be too Involved”; Explains the Reason

Ananya Panday is uprightly the ‘Student of the Year’ as she has been raging on the box office. She made her debut in 2019 and has already impressed the audience with films like SOTY2, and Pati Patni Aur Woh co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednaker. She will be next seen alongside Ishaan Khatter in Khaali Peeli, and also has Shakun Batra’s untitled film starring Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

Owing to her massive success and growth, Ananya reveals her parents-Chunky and Bhavna Panday’s reaction as she says: “They are very happy. Parents will always be your only true fans who want the best for you. I’m so happy my parents are seeing my success. They’ve always emphasised on me living a very balanced life. I began working at a young age, they always try and make time for me to chill, enjoy and live a normal life.”

Ananya’s father Chunky Panday belongs to the business, and when asked if he ever gives any tips, tricks or advice to his daughter, the 21-year-old stated that her parents don’t get involved too much as they want her to figure things out on her own.

“They don’t want to be too involved because they want me to have my own journey. They don’t want for me to, later on in my life, have any regrets, so they let me do my own thing,” Ananya told Hindustan Times.
