Amrita Rao resumes work after delivering baby boy: “It’s not easy”

Actress Amrita Rao welcomed her first child with husband RJ Anmol on November 1, 2020. The couple is blessed with a baby boy, and they have named him ‘Veer.’

The couple has been spending quality time with their newborn baby as they embrace the new chapter of parenthood. Seven months after delivering her baby, Amrita is now back on set as she resumed work post her pregnancy.

First time after her delivery, Amrita stepped out to shoot for an advertisement, reports ETimes. Owing to the Covid-19 restrictions, there was a limited crew of just 5 members on set and all had tested negative for safety purposes. It was indeed a different experience for Amrita for shooting in pandemic times.

Speaking about getting back to work post her pregnancy, Amrita thanked her mother for setting a precedent. She told ETimes:

“I have always wanted to be a working mother thanks to the right precedent set by my mom. She did not give up her career after I was born. She has balanced things so beautifully that I never ever felt that I didn’t have her around whenever I needed her. Thanks to her, I have always looked up to other working mothers and wanted to step into her shoes. Let me tell you, it's not easy. So, three cheers to all working women!”
