Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has expressed a very powerful message towards people urging them to not fear from Coronavirus survivors. He urged people to not discriminate against the patients and extend mental support to COVID-19 patients.
In a powerful video, Big B stated: “Corona attacks us in 2 different ways. First is physical and the second is mental attack. Mental attack gives birth to suspicion and doubt, and this doubt is to such extent that we ought to fear the person, who has recovered from the virus.”
The actor continued to express how the survivors are been lauded by their families and people all across the globe. “You must have seen that the patients recovering from the virus, being lauded by doctors, and you must have watched on TV that the people who recovered from the virus are hailed by their relatives and the society.”
Bachchan adds that while scientists are trying their best to discover a vaccine and fight against the mental attack, we as citizens should unite against the mental attack and support the COVID-19 survivors.
“Currently, the whole lot of scientists are trying for the physical fight against coronavirus- but we need to stand together in the mental fight against COVID-19,” he said.
“ If we lose it, it will be a win for corona, and we won’t let this happen” he adds.
