Amitabh Bachchan Tests Corona Positive, Rushed to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Coronavirus. The actor was rushed to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday evening.

Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to confirm the news. He tweeted: 

"T 3590 -1 have tested CoviD positive..shifted to Hospital . hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited ..

All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!"

Amitabh Bachchan's family including  Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and other family members have also underwent tests for COVID-19. Big B's staff have also undergone tests. Results are awaited. 

The hospital sources have confirmed that the actor is in stable condition.We wish Big B a speedy recovery...

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s comedy-drama Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film was initially going to be released in theaters, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
