Amitabh Bachchan on his Hand Injury: A Diwali bomb exploded in my hand and blew it up...

Amitabh Bachchan in his recent blog opened up about his hand injury due to a Diwali bomb and revealed how he used to hid it with a handkerchief or hide his hand in the pocket. Taking to his Twitter handle he even shared a picture of his fingers...

Amitabh Bachchan’s life in no less than that of a roller coaster ride. While experiencing too many highs and lows in his career, he has even dealt with one of the worst injuries at the peak of his time. Recently, he also talked about his hand injuries in his blog and now he has shared a closeup of his left-hand fingers, which he injured years ago while lighting firecrackers on Diwali.

The Gulabo Sitabo actor posted a picture of his injury that has healed over time.

Sharing a closeup shot of his index finger on Twitter, the actor wrote, “Fingers ... the most difficult element of the human body to restructure .. need movement continuously .. stop movement they become stiff .. I know .. blew my hand off with a Diwali bomb .. took me 2 months to move my thumb to my index finger !! .. & now how creative.”

Amitabh then took to his blog and revealed how he dealt with the injury added, “work continued .. hand wrapped in a kerchief for style .. or in the pocket for attitude .. but work continued .. as must it should.” He even shared a few pictures for the same.

He shared a screengrab from his film Inquilaab (1984), which featured him dancing with a handkerchief tied on his hand. Meanwhile, in another still from Sharaabi (1984), he has seen a white suit, holding a glass in one hand and his injured hand in his pocket.

Refusing to share any additional behind-the-scenes stories from the two films, he wrote, “the first one .. a Madras production .. and Sharaabi the other .. great behind the scenes, stories for both the films .. now not prudent to talk about them .. they are best unwritten and undisclosed.”

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Chehre helmed by Rumi Jaffery, Gulabo Sitabo by Shoojit Sircar, Jhund directed by Nagraj Manjule and Brahmastra by Ayan Mukerji.
