The long-awaited collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee finally has a name. On the occasion of the actor’s birthday, the makers dropped the title poster, confirming that the film is called Raaka. Backed by Sun Pictures, the reveal arrived exactly at 11 AM, just as promised a day earlier, sending fans into a frenzy.

A Striking First Look That Stole the Show

The title poster introduces Allu Arjun in a way audiences have never seen before. Gone is his familiar stylish persona; in its place stands a fierce, almost mythical figure. He appears bald, with intense kohl-lined eyes locked straight into the camera. Adding to the intrigue are sharp animal-like claws and distinct markings on his forehead that resemble Viking-style tattoos. The imagery hints at a raw, powerful character, though the makers have stayed tight-lipped about the storyline or genre.

The visual instantly grabbed attention online, with fans calling it bold and unforgettable. Interestingly, the teaser shared a day before only showed a mysterious furry claw, building curiosity around the world of Raaka.

Big Vision, Bigger Expectations

While details remain under wraps, the scale of the film has been teased before. A video released last year showed producer Kalanithi Maran travelling to Los Angeles with Allu Arjun and Atlee to collaborate with top international VFX artists. Some of these technicians, known for their work on Hollywood projects, reportedly described the script as something entirely new for Indian cinema.

The film, earlier referred to as AA22 x A6, marks a significant milestone for both the actor and director. With Atlee known for mounting large-scale entertainers, expectations are naturally sky-high.

Adding to the excitement is the presence of Deepika Padukone as the female lead. While her character details are still a mystery, her collaboration with Allu Arjun and Atlee has already sparked massive buzz. Fans are eager to see what dynamic she brings to this ambitious project.

The film is currently in development, with shooting progressing quietly. If all goes as planned, Raaka is expected to hit theatres in 2027.
