“Alia is playing a Pimp in Gangubai Kathiawadi”: Rangoli makes Startling Comments, Drags Ananya Panday

The Ranaut sisters and controversies go hand in hand. Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel never miss an opportunity to raise their voices and bold opinions on various subjects and often slam the celebrities on social media. Rangoli often targets Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh among other actors for being a part of the ‘nepotism gang.’

After slamming the B Town couples for ‘cheap’ holiday destinations, Rangoli has expressed her views on Alia’s overwhelming reaction to Ma Anand Sheela’s comment on her being worthy of playing the part in her biopic.

Ma Anand Sheela had stated that she feels Alia would be perfect to play her part in a biopic, to which Alia reacted saying, “If Ma Anand Sheela feels I'm worthy to play her part, I'd feel very very honoured and grateful. Hopefully, if that film is made I'd be very very happy to play it.”  

Reacting to this, Rangoli also lashed out at Alia’s films, Raazi and Gully Boy. “Alia ji played a Muslim spy in Raazi who goes to Pakistan, gets pregnant and starts crying that she wants to go home. Country and nationalism be damned. Bollywood liberals get their best actress. In Gully Boy she played a burqa-clad woman and that was enough for the liberals to crown her best actress again,” she wrote in multiple tweets.

 “Now Alia is playing a pimp in Gangubai Kathiawadi. According to Hussain Zaidi’s book, Gangu was a prostitute but when she grew older, she began supplying girls to top gangsters,” Rangoli added.

She also dragged Ananya Panday as she wrote on Twitter, “Maa baap ne acting chahe na seekhaye ho magar jihadi politics mein puri training hai, magar aab Ananya ji bhi aa gayi hai toh jo sakta hai competition badh jaye hmmm..”
