Alia Bhatt shares wedding photos with Ranbir Kapoor and its all about smiles, kisses and all things love

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding has been the talk of B-town since way before anything was even officially announced. While there were reports that Alia might make an official announcement about her wedding on social media, it didn't happen after all.

However, who cares about the announcement anymore, because Alia and Ranbir are now officially married and we can't seem to get enough of the newlyweds. The two, as one would have expect, make for an absolutely charming pair on their big day, complementing each other and how.

Alia has now shared a series of photos of the two and along with it, she also penned a heartfelt note. The photos range from the duo sharing a kiss, giving a peck on each other's lips, holding hands, and all things smiling from the wedding ceremony.

She wrote: Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special.

She concluded the note by signing off with the words, 'Love, Ranbir and Alia'

Both Ranbir and Alia twinned in ivory and gold outfits and looked absolutely regal. Alia wore an organza saree by Sabyasachi with heavy kundan jewelry, including a necklace, bangles, her drop earrings and a mang-tika along with a traditional headband. Her hair was left open and the makeup was rather simple, making Alia one of the prettiest B-town brides. She also had her chunni over her head with a short train, which only added to the entire royal look. Ranbir, on the other hand, donned a sherwani, had his turban on and also carried a dupatta. Along with that, he also had a pearl neckpiece to go with the look.

In attendance were all of their immediate family members along with the likes of best friends Ayan Mukerji, Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor as well as as Karan Johar, cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and others.

Meanwhile, reports have it that the duo might head to South Africa for their honeymoon, however, nothing is confirmed just yet. In addition, post their marriage, both Ranbir and Alia are expected to resume work soon as they have an array of projects ahead. Apart from Brahmastra, Ranbir has Animal, Luv Ranjan's movie with Shraddha Kapoor, and Shamshera. Alia, on the other hand, as Darlings, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, among others.
