Ali Abbas Zafar's action flick starring Shahid Kapoor wraps up

Shahid Kapoor has wrapped another film, this time, with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar. The latter confirmed that they have completed filming for their forthcoming action movie with a tweet. Ali Abbas praised Shahid Kapoor and the entire squad for making the last six months so much fun on his official Twitter account.

He tweeted, “Action has always been one of my Favourite genres and the thrill of making action movies on sets is even a greater experience. Film Wrap, Thank you @shahidkapoor, and the entire team for making these last 6 months super fun.”

According to early rumours, the movie is a remake of the French film Nuit Blanche. According to reports, Shahid will appear in Ali's unnamed film, which is backed by Jio Studios, as a cop tracking down mafia bosses. Shahid's next film, Thoongaa Vanam, has reportedly been dubbed in Tamil and Telugu as Thoongaa Vanam and Cheekati Rajyam, respectively.

Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in the film Jersey. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor in lead roles. The film was earlier slated to release on December 31st, 2021, but due to the surge in Covid 19 cases and the shutting down of cinemas in various parts of the country, the makers decided to postpone the release date. 

Now, the film is set to hit the big screens on 14th April. KGF: Chapter 2 will clash with the movie. Yash and Srinidhi Shetty will also appear in the second part. Aside from them, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Prakash Raj have joined the cast as additions. Sanjay Dutt will play Adheera, the primary nemesis.
