Recently, Akshay Kumar along with Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh were shortlisted to play the lead in Dhoom 4. Now, the reports in India Today suggest that Khiladi Kumar has been finalized for the role as a villain for Dhoom 4.

Earlier, John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan played the antagonists in the first three films in the Dhoom franchise, respectively.

An industry source has confirmed to Bollywood analyst Atul Mohan that Akshay Kumar has won the race to become the next 'bad man' in Dhoom 4. He took to Twitter to inform the fans.

He wrote, "A highly placed source has revealed that #AkshayKumar has been confirmed for #Dhoom4. Let's wait for official announcement soon."

While John Abraham set the tone for the suave action-oriented antagonist in the first installment, Hrithik Roshan gave one of the career-best performances in Dhoom 2 and Aamir Khan was seen in a massy flick after ages with Dhoom 3. Now, there’s a possibility that Akki will be seen as an Antagonist.

Earlier, it was reported that Shah Rukh’s name had surfaced in 2017 and back in 2018 Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh would be considered for Dhoom 4.

Shah Rukh Khan's name also made headlines for the same reasons in 2017. While Salman never clarified if the speculation was true, SRK rubbished the rumors.
