Akshay Kumar shares an adorable picture with wife Twinkle to wish her on their 22nd wedding anniversary

In the world of glamour, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are one of the most sought-after couples. Today, the couple is celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary and now, Akshay has a very special wish for his wife.

He took to his social media handle and shared an unseen picture wherein the couple is looking magnificent in their traditional attire. Akshay was sporting an off-white kurta, while Twinkle looked gorgeous in a pink saree. Sharing the picture, Akshay wrote, "Two imperfect people who have perfectly been stuck together since twenty-two years! Happy anniversary Tina 😘."

For the unversed, when the two first met, Akshay had a crush on Twinkle right away during a Mumbai photo session for Filmfare magazine. The actor admitted as much in an interview with Filmfare, saying, 

"I met Twinkle for the first time during a photo session with Jayesh Seth for Filmfare. I still have that photograph. Thank you, Filmfare!"

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna tied the knot on January 17, 2001, and it was a small, low-key affair. Just 50 guests attended the wedding of the two, which took place at the home of the designer duo friends Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.  Aamir Khan, Amar Singh, and Dharmesh Darshan, a well-known director, were among the guests at this wedding. The couple is now parents to two kids, son Aarav and daughter Nitara.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is currently gearing up for his upcoming film 'Selfiee'. He will star with Emraan Hashmi in the film and trailer of the movie is going to be out shortly.
