Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan were last seen in Tanhaji, but post the release of their film the two reportedly had a fallout and soon they were not on talking terms. Saif’s comment over 'no concept of India before British' saw a lot of criticism and it seems his controversial remarks didn’t go well with Ajay.
Now, at a recent media interaction, Ajay was quizzed if he was angry with Saif to which he had a rather sarcastic and hilarious answer. The actor joked about visiting Saif's residence and said that he was very angry with him and hit him a lot. Ajay also joked that he broke Saif's leg.
Further addressing his fallout with the Jawani Jaaneman actor, Ajay rubbished the rumors and said, “Pata nahi aapko kahase aise news aati hai, aisa kuch nahi hai. (I don't know from where do you get such news, there's nothing like this.)”
For the unversed, in a previous interview with Anupama Chopra Saif said, "I don't think there was a concept of India till perhaps the British gave it one. I don't think there is really any constructive point in arguing about loudly, provided you yourself know why you're doing it." Saif was referring to the portrayal of Tanhaji's call for Swaraj in the movie, which is based in the 17th century.
Saif soon roped a lot of criticism and Ajay Devgn was also miffed with the actor's take on the film that was a huge box office success. According to sources, when Ajay came to know about Saif calling the film's plot to be inaccurate in places he was quite upset as Saif almost disowned the film.
