Ajay Devgn teases Saif Ali Khan for his Endless Hunger for Perfection!

Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan are finally returning to the silver screen after a long gap. The two were last seen teaming up for Omkara (2003); now they are ready to surprise the fans with their upcoming period drama - Tanhaji. While a section of the audience thought the film might be a victim of the poor casting, the duo is ready to prove them wrong with their performance. To everyone's surprise, they still have the funny banter within them alive.

Considering, Saif the actor is known to seek perfection and he offers his best performance. The actor's endless hunger for perfection is proof how much he loves his work. Although, this definitely led him to be teased by Ajay during the trailer launch. 

Today, the makers of Tanhaji launched the trailer of the film and before anyone could imagine, Saif made a shocking revelation. Saif will be seen playing the character of  Uday Bhan Singh and when he was asked to narrow down his character, he revealed that it was an amazing experience and how he went for multiple retakes to get the scenes perfectly.  

He said, “It was a very comfortable shoot and our director Om Raut focused a lot on my character. Even when I used to go for as many as 25 retakes to get it perfect, our director Om Raut used to be so supportive. Also, it wasn’t that the first and second takes weren’t that good. But, in my quest to get it perfect, I suggested we go for multiple retakes."

Ajay being humorous as always quickly interrupted and added, “Yeh apni perfection ke peeche pade the lekin ultimately, first take hi okay hue hai in the end.” With this, the entire auditorium burst into peals of laughter.

“It was a crazy character, and it was beautiful,” added Saif.

The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. The film will be releasing on January 10, 2020.
