Aishwarya Rai’s Befitting Reply to David Letterman’s Family Question Deserves Applause!

The Bachchan family has always displayed grace and allure and are one of the most respected families in the industry. The close-knit family of Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, along with Shweta Nanda Bachchan with all the kids is what defines a happy tribe.

Celebrity couple Abhishek and Aishwarya still live with their parents at the family home in Juhu, Mumbai, and have one daughter, Aaradhya. However, the actress was once questioned about the same, to which she had a rather savage answer.

Aishwarya was on the publicity tour for Gurinder Chadha’s 2004 film Bride and Prejudice and had appeared on David Letterman’s talk show to promote the movie. However, the conversation was quite intricate for the actress as she was asked why she lives at home with her parents, even as an adult.

And here comes the befitting response by Aish who stated: “It’s fine to live with your parents because It’s also common in India, we don’t have to take appointments from the parents to meet for dinner.”

Besides Aish, her husband and actor Abhishek too had to face a similar incident when he was trolled for living with his parents. Junior Bachchan knew how to handle such trolls well and had replied, “Yes! And it’s the proudest moment for me to be able to be there for them, as they have for me. Try it sometime, you might feel better about yourself.”
