‘Aishwarya put my life back on track’: Abhishek Bachchan calls her ‘wonderful, sensible wife’

Abhishek Bachchan is currently basking in the success of his recently released film ‘The Big Bull’. Junior B received heaps of praises from his father and superstar Amitabh Bachchan for his impressive performance.

In a recent interview, Abhishek lauded his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and credited her for bringing his life back on track during the lockdown. 

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Abhishek Bachchan shared how his moving wife Aishwarya kept his spirits high during the lockdown period and reminded him of the little joys of life. Appreciating his wife, the actor said:

"I'm always asked, 'What did you do during the lockdown?' Some people learned to cook, some people have picked up a new language... I was speaking to my wife about this, and as all wives do, they put your lives into focus, and put you back on track."

The Bachchan family including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek, Aishwarya and their daughter Aaradhya had tested positive for Coronavirus last year. They were all hospitalised and returned back home after recovering from the virus. Sharing how Aish helped him with a different perspective to look at the situation, he said:

"She said, 'For the first time in your life, you got to spend an entire year with your family, and your family is safe and healthy today'. And when she said that, apart from being appreciative of having such a wonderful and sensible wife, it's so true. We get to do what we love doing all day, and go home to a healthy and happy family."

In the recent round of promotions, Abhishek had also shared how Aishwarya has trained daughter Aaradhya to handle media attention and kept her aware of her privileges of coming from the Bachchan family.
