Aishana Singh REPLACED by Jyotsana Chandola in 'Santoshi Maa'..!

The actress was replaced because of a supposed change in track..

The mythological show, 'Santoshi Maa' has gradually made its mark on people presenting the amalgamation of drama with worship and how important is the role of God in one's life. The concept has been presented before, however, this portrayal with a novel twist is being appreciated by viewers.

The show has two female protagonists, Santoshi, the worshipper (Ratan Rajput) and Gracy Singh, Goddess Santoshi herself (Santoshi Maa).

However, the makers have come with up with the idea of a replacement where the role of Bitto (Aishana Singh) will now be played by actress, Jyotsna Chandola, currently seen in 'Sasural Simar Ka'.

The replacement apparently happened out of the blue for actress Aishana Singh and according to sources, the makers needed a good actress to play the role as they plan a development in the character. Aishana was cast as a supporting actor, but with the TRPs picking up, the makers have decided to make the role of Bitto more pivotal in the upcoming track.

We contacted Jyotsana, who confirmed saying, "The makers suddenly called me asking that there is this role in the show which we would like you to perform. I went and was happy with the role, so I took it up. I am already doing 'Sasural Simar Ka' with the same production house, so I am happy with it and this marks a hattrick for me with them."

Asking about the replacement saga, she answered, "I don't really know the reason behind the replacement, but all I know is that the makers are going to come up with something different with the role. It has just been two days since I am shooting, so it is tough for me to judge what is intended."

She added, "I am very happy with the role and I, myself am an avid Santoshi Maa believer, so its a win-win situation for me. In fact the cast have started teasing me with it, that it is only apt that this Santoshi Maa bhakt (worshipper) is a part of the show. (laughs)"
